I started my first "project" when I was 16, which was 12 years ago. It didn't do well but it got me on the road to entrepreneurship. I've also helped other startups on the side with their growth/sales. I've always had more ideas than I know what to do with, and struggled to find the time to work on them all. The launch of no-code tools really changed the game for me and allowed me to implement ideas faster and without the need for large teams.
I'm now building Startups.fyi - a free weekly newsletter where we feature the most useful websites, products and apps for startup founders and aspiring entrepreneurs.
I launched it in May this year as a side project and it gained immediate traction among the community. We now have 3,400+ startup founders who subscribe to the newsletter and are looking for recommendations of products to use.
Startups.fyi helps you find under the radar tools and resources that make your life easier as a startup founder and help you along different stages of your journey. Most founders have a limited budget when starting out, and that's why we only ever feature tools that are completely free-to-use or those that have a generous free option.
Webflow! I'm biased because I run a Webflow development agency, but it's absolutely essential and I couldn't have launched any of my projects without it.
I got my first 100 subscribers via word of mouth, Twitter and Indie Hackers. Launching on startup directories like Product Hunt also gave us a nice boost and helped us get to where we are today.
I'm not looking at selling it anytime soon, but would consider it in the future. It's got a ton of growth potential in it and I want to take it further.
